Mentoring with your OBC courses
If you’ve joined one of our fabulous birth worker courses you’ll receive oodles of support to help you through your learning journey and beyond as you step foot into birth work. We want to support you to build your business, and help you become a community focused, trauma informed doula. We’ll be right by your side!
The OBC Birth Worker Training Programme
We offer 1-2-1 mentoring throughout your study for up to 6 months.
Then when you begin work (and the accreditation process for becoming a doula) you’ll be supported 1-2-1 for your first 5 births and/ or postnatal jobs over a minimum of 12 months.
If you complete your first 5 births well within the 12 month mentoring period - don’t worry we’ll continue to support you up to a total of 12 mentoring sessions!
PLEASE NOTE - THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE COST OF THE COURSE. THERE ARE NO HIDDEN EXTRAS AT THE OBC!
It’s so important that you have the support you need to help develop your business and support you in your birth work.
At The OBC we have a small team of experienced birth workers who’ve been just where you are now! They have the training and the tools to support you and help you achieve your goals within your birth work.
You are able to either book single stand alone sessions (£60 per hour) or block book sessions at a discounted rate for ongoing support
