Carrot Insurance is coverage offered by American employers in the UK, and is designed to financially support families through their fertility, perinatal and postnatal times.
As a Doula, how can you support families looking to use their Carrot Insurance benefit?
Can I support families with Carrot Insurance?
Carrot provides benefit for every aspect of family journeys, including reproductive tech fertility, surrogacy and adoption, prenatal, perinatal and postnatal support, and parenting. So if you support families with any of the above, you could support your clients with help from Carrot Insurance.
How can I get listed?
Whether you are listed preemptively or already have an enquiry. The first thing to do is email Carrot about becoming a listed Doula. The email address is doula@get-carrot.com, this kick-starts the process.
What do I need to be listed?
Carrot have created a specific set of requirements for UK Doulas which they must meet to be eligible to be covered.
✅ Be an Accredited Doula with a recognised body

You can find the full requirements here
How does it work after that?
If you have a client with Carrot Insurance coverage, the client will pay you directly for your services, and claim the cost back. That’s it!
